Castle Donington & District Flower Club

Have you ever put flowers in a vase and wished you could do something different with them?

Have you ever looked at a flower arrangement in a church or at a show and wondered how it's done?

Well, come to the Castle Donington & District Flower Club and let us show you how.

We have monthly meetings where a flower arranger will demonstrate how to use flowers and foliage to its best advantage and create wonderful artistic designs.

We support flower festivals, have trips and outings during the year and run day schools for flower arranging and allied subjects. At Christmas we have a special demonstration at Castle Donington Community College.

Meetings are held at
Castle Donington Village Hall, Moira Dale
at 7.30 pm
on the second Wednesday of each month.
Visitors are welcome to join us - fee £3.00

Castle Donington & District Flower Club are looking for new members

Castle Donington Flower Club presents £400 to Ruby Rainbow Hospice£400 presented to Ruby Rainbow Hospice by CD Flower ClubThe Castle Donington & District Flower Club was formed in 1979 for those who loved flowers and wanted to learn more about floral art. The meetings offer club members the opportunity to socialise and watch flower arranging demonstrations from the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies (NAFAS) experts.

The club also:

  • organises day trips, for example the Malvern flower show
  • raises money for a nominated charity through open garden events and the sale of Christmas wreaths
  • members often also exhibit in flower arranging events, such as the Chatsworth House exhibition entitled Reflections.

The members meet at 7:30 pm on the second Wednesday of each month in the village hall in Moira Dale, Castle Donington. New members and visitors are always very welcome.
