Brave ghost-hunters are being sought to spend a whole night looking for paranormal goings-on in Snibston.
Spookspy's Ghost Group is hosting a paranormal investigation on Saturday, October 18, to kick off the Halloween season.
The event starts 7.30pm with a three course meal and a introduction to ghost hunting, before participants are put into smaller groups in search of paranormal activity around the old colliery buildings and office block.
The group's paranormal lead investigator, John Tulley, said: "Snibston has a fascinating history with miners and past industries from years gone by. When all the lights go out at night, this exciting place shows a complete dark side to what people are used to in the daytime."
The night ends at 4.30am with a debrief to give people a chance to see and hear what happened on the investigations.
If you are over 18 and prepared to take advantage of this evening at a reduced rate of £35, including a meal and a tour, then prepare for an adventurous evening into the early hours.
The event, including the meal and tour, costs £35. Booking is essential as places are limited. People taking part must be aged over 18.
