Bee Home, a new bespoke furniture, interiors and giftware store is opening on Borough Street in Castle Donington.
The newly refurbished showroom opens to the public on Friday 26th April offering a stunning array of lovingly restored and beautifully upholstered period furniture, lighting, mirrors, interior accessories and giftware. Bee Home is also an official supplier of Haddenstone garden ornaments and Nougat bath, body and home collections.
Proprietor and bespoke furniture upholsterer, Deborah Swift told AboutMyArea/DE74:
"It is very all exciting as I've been waiting 4 years to open a showroom in Castle Donington. The furniture pieces are already being sold in London and famous customers include Richard Hammond, Rupert Grint and the Spencer-Churchills. We have some beautiful items, gifts and cards and welcome everyone to come in for a browse and to enjoy 'The Bee Home Experience'."
Historically the showroom was the old village iron mongers, and more recently just storage space which AboutMyArea/DE74 notes 'did look a bit of an eyesore with yellowing net curtains covering the windows'. Now the building is transformed into an exquisite double fronted showroom and with Deborah's lovely displays will be a splendid addition to the village shopping centre.
