Castle Donington Farmers' Market - Sat 10 May
| Published: 9th May 2008 18:12 |

Castle Donington Farmers' Market returns on Saturday 10th May and what better way to celebrate Spring's arrival than to stock up on some beautiful seasonal flowers or vegetables? Or add some pizzazz to your meals, with some fresh, seasonal herbs - available from our new stallholder "The Witch's Garden". From pies to primroses, cakes to steaks - all the goods on offer are sourced locally, from independent producers that you can trust.
The market runs every second Saturday of the month, from 9am until 12.30pm, giving you plenty of time to take your pick of the many wonderful goods on offer. Representatives for every business are on-site, ready to serve you - so you can get experienced advice on their produce, cooking, and even recipe ideas.
Castle Donington Farmers' Market is held at St Edwards Primary School, with ample parking at the adjacent Community College, and disabled access via the front of St Edwards. Better yet, a free bus service is provided, starting at Diseworth and calling at Kegworth, Lockington & Hemington before arriving at the market. Seats can be pre-booked, or you can hop on board on the day from selected points (see timetable). For more details on this service, please phone 01332 850742 or 850526
