Long Lasting Love Shines Through in Local Survey Results!!

Love is in the air according to recent survey results issued by community website AboutMyArea.co.uk. Out of men and women asked nationwide, a truly lovely 68% believe that romance lingers on way past the early stages of new relationships.
This Valentine's Day inspired survey also asked the public how many cards they were sending and expecting to receive. Nearly two thirds are planning on sending a card this year and 61% (just two percent less) will be pacing the welcome mat waiting for ‘postie' to bring their expected love notes.
Over half surveyed will also go that one step further this Valentine's Day and send a gift with their cards.
One result displays a certain amount of bravado amongst men, with 6% of those asked expecting to receive as many as three cards or more this year. Sadly for them the total number of women planning on sending that many cards is absolutely zero!
Local DE74 residents of Castle Donington, Kegworth, Diseworth, Hemington, Lockington and Isley Walton when surveyed recently, are obviously more romantic, a
massive 87% believe in long term romance! A similar amount of people to the national figures will be sending and hoping to receive cards, but there was an interesting divergence on the present giving question: Nearly three quarters of local men claim that they will be buying their Valentine a present (that's practically every man sending a card!) but only one in every five women will be sending a gift. What does all this say about local love? Well maybe it shows that the residents of the DE74 postcode are just a little more romantic than average.
