Thrumpton stages its annual Flower Festival
Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th July 2009.
Thrumpton VillageVisit the attractive 14th century church with its flower displays. This year's theme is "Music".
Some of the gardens in the village are open to the public just for this weekend.
On both days there are ploughman's lunches, a Village Hall bar and teas.
On SAT only - stalls, live music and some games.
On SUN - Songs of Praise in church at 6 p.m.
FREE carparking. Accesssible toilets in Village Hall.
NO DOGS permitted in open gardens except assistance dogs.
Admission to Village gardens: Adults £2.50, children under 16 free.
Come and enjoy a walk around our delightful South Nottinghamshire village.
Thrumpton is - 8 miles SW of Nottingham, just off the A453, 4 miles from Jct.24 of M1, 10 miles N of Loughborough, 14 miles SE of Derby.
