With summer approaching fast Donington Park stages the biggest family fun event in the region this year on Sunday May 4.
In conjunction with The John Guest Trophy Raceday which incorporates the third round of the HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship, there is so much going on to keep the whole family happy.
No time for the youngsters to get bored with a funfair and bouncy castles to keep them happy without burning a hole in your pocket. Under 16 year olds get in free when accompanied by an adult.
Lings Bolddog Freestyle Moto Cross dare devil riders defy gravity in a record breaking display of high flying and quick stopping using part of the grand prix course that has been built on the circuit infield They are Honda's official and the UK's number one freestyle motocross display team with their show based on the latest extreme sports action including freestyle motocross and motorcycle back flips. The team is managed by one of Europe's top freestyle motocross riders, Dan Whitby, the first person to flip a four stroke motorcycle in Europe!
On the track the whole family will enjoy the sight and sound of the super-quick grand-prix style look-alike Superleague car until the action switches to the sky at 16.20 precisely.
Just before the start of the third British Touring Car Championship race a Spitfire from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight will grace the skies over the circuit to bring memories flooding back to older members of the family.
If that's not enough, pop into the Donington Grand Prix Collection to witness the biggest collection of grand prix cars in the World. It's open all weekend.
Don't forget the actual motor racing. Throw in a day of World class action, including that titanic battle for the HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship, and you have a day the whole family will never forget.
