On Saturday 11 November 2006 13 of the many Horsewatch groups in the country met at Thames Valley Police Headquarters, Kidlington, Oxford. It was a very productive meeting bringing together methods and information and, more importantly, a desire to work together to combate crime. It was decided we would not create another level of reporting by forming another committee so we have called ourselves the UK Horsewatch Alliance. Each group will remain autonomous with this website being a central point for contact details for each individual group and related websites containing relevant information. We contacted as many groups for this meeting as we could locate.
