National Forest Riding Club (NFRC)

The National Forest Riding Club has been established since 1981 and until 2003 was known as Donisthorpe and District Riding Club.
We have had a couple of major and related changes to the club since 2002. All shows and competitions are now held at our showground at Stanton's Wood on Ingleby Lane, Ticknall, close by Knowle Hill Equestrian Centre. The new name was chosen both in recognition of the wide area from which the club attracts members and because of the situation of the new showground in the heart of the National Forest.
We are a small and friendly local riding club and our position means that we attract members of all ages and standards from Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Staffordshire.
