LAST CALL FOR BUSINESSES TO TEE OFF FOR WILDLIFE
19th June, 2007
Devon Wildlife Trust (DWT) is holding its 5th annual corporate golf tournament next month at Dawlish Warren Golf Club which also happens to be a DWT nature reserve.
The event was due to take place in June but had to be rearranged and now the charity is eagerly searching for more teams to make it a success.
Teams of four are invited to enter this challenging links competition to win the charity shield and a host of other top prizes. The event is being held on Friday 6 July 07 and is open to any local businesses that wish to enter.
Last year the event raised over £4000 and was won by a team from South West Water. Businesses can enter at £180 per team and they also have the opportunity to sponsor a hole to advertise their company. This year there will also be a sponsored drinks tent on the 9th hole.
DWT's Corporate Relations Officer, Tracy Ebbrell said: ‘I can't believe this is the fifth year, it has been such a success over the past few years and it would be great to raise even more this year. It is such a good way to network, have fun, meet new businesses and especially thank our corporate supporters.'
Each team of four can enjoy welcome pack, refreshments, two course dinner and a round of golf with prizes for 1st 2nd and 3rd place. This year up to 25 teams can enter.
If you would like to enter a team in this year's event or find out more about DWT's corporate work contact Corporate Relations Officer, Tracy Ebbrell on 01392 279244 or visit www.devonwildlifetrust.org and click on Corporate Supporters Scheme to download a booking form.
