Joining the Pre-school
Request a registration form by calling the number above or calling in and simply bring it along or prior to your first session, this gives us vital information regarding you and your child. On your first visit you will be asked to pay a registration fee of £15.00 this is a one off payment, to cover administration costs, your child will receive a t-shirt with the pre-school logo on and a record book to record your child's progress.
Settling InSome children may become anxious when first starting pre-school and may need their parents/carers to stay for a few sessions to help them settle, this process is particular to the individual, as all children and their needs are different. We will work with you to make ensure this is a smooth and enjoyable transition for you both, as it can be just as upsetting for you as your child. Sessions & FeesPre-school sessions coincide with school terms. We are open Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm except Bank Holidays and at present we are closed Thursday afternoons. Please bring along a snack, which could be a piece of fruit, raisins, cubes of cheese, crackers or bread for toast. NO NUTS OR SWEETS thank you |
Curriculum and Keyworker System
Prior to your child attending pre-school a keyworker will be allocated, but this is a flexible arrangement depending on needs and personalities. Said keyworker will work closely with your child recording his/her progress, supporting his/her development and helping him/her to achieve their goals. This information is documented and displayed in their individual folder which is presented to you when you leave the setting.
We follow the same foundation stage curriculum as nurseries and main stream schools, providing a rich, broad and balanced learning environment. Children learn through play following the Early Learning Goals.
