A Message from 'Down Under'

Hi Pat, from Perth, Western Australia! I was raised in Newton Abbot from 1943 to 1961 and its fantastic to actually find a website devoted to the area! I went to the old Knowles Hill School and Ashburton College (now a town housing complex up on Wolborough Hill).

The Homeguard pics are from that publication and he may need to be acknowledged if you use them. Attached are a couple of pics of Newton Abbot that I took for the Devonshire Press circa '58 - Other pics should be no problem either!
