New Events Calendar helps make exercise more fun
A ‘New Physique' events calendar at Newton Abbot Leisure Centre is proving that exercise isn't all work and no play!
The New Physique events calendar includes a range of gym challenges, seminars, masterclasses, fun classes, charity and social events, aimed at increasing levels of motivation among gym members while providing an opportunity to meet new people and add variety to the fitness suite.
Cllr Anne Fry, Teignbridge Executive Spokesperson for Community Services said:
"For some people the thought of going to the gym isn't the most exciting prospect, and it can be hard to get the motivation to stick to an exercise programme.
"Now we have the opportunity provide a fun new events calendar, which helps keep thing varied, interesting, and social. It's never been easier to get in shape, enjoy yourself, and meet new friends at the same time."
Events coming up include:
Sunday 9th December
2-hour Sports Challenge in the Sports Hall
Free to All Inclusive Members
Saturday 15th December
Christmas Drinks for all New Physique customers and staff to attend
Throughout December
