THE GROWING INTEREST IN SPIRITUALISM
The world is fascinated with all forms of spirituality. Both old and young alike are caught up in the world of magic; from Harry Potter fans to the Halloween Hocus Pocus have found immense popularity with mankind in these years.

Modern days interest in this area has increased by leaps and bounds around the earth – and why?
The answer to this question is as varied as there are opinions. Basically organised religion does not seem to have the power to keep people from looking elsewhere. Many former churchgoers are bored or disillusioned with the more orthodox form of being ‘spiritually’ motivated. And why is That?
Man has grown in many ways. He has become capable of reasoning for himself. He needs to investigate and share the results with his neighbours. Simplicity is the essence of the pathway known as ~Spiritualism, which is one of the World’s youngest religions. It succeeds because it allows itself to be questioned constantly by its followers. Even the leadership in spiritualism is ever changing and those that try to dominate it seem to be plucked out and replaced.
Spiritualism is the new science that has come to reveal to mankind by means of irrefutable proof the existence and nature of the spiritual world and its relation with the physical world.
Spiritualism and science complement each other. Science, without spiritualism will find it impossible to explain certain phenomena through the laws that govern only matter. And spiritualism, without science, will lack support and corroboration.
One of the larges spiritualist organisations is the Spiritualists National Union based in the UK, and it is recognised by the HM government as the legally established religious body for spiritualism. It has a good education and training programme and its philosophy is based on the Seven Principles, which do not lay down rules but encourage people to discuss and think about their attitude to life.
Why is spiritualism Important today?
Spiritualists come from every walk of life. They are bankers, builders, nurses, teachers, bookkeepers, and sales clerks, electricians – any and all professions are attracted to spiritualism. Every place you find thinking men and women coming together, you will find spiritualist. Spiritualism is a science, philosophy and religion that satisfies your logic, your mind and your heart. As the population contemplates the current conditions in the world today they are seeking a greater understanding of the purpose of life and what can be done to improve individual life situations and the circumstance of the world. Spiritualism gives a person the key that can be used to find the answers she/he seeks.
Spiritualism provides the knowledge that by using prayer and meditation, we can become more aware of our responsibilities to ourselves and to others. Through this inner awareness and guidance received through spirit communications, a person takes the necessary actions to improve his or her own life and contributes to the improved welfare of the entire human race.
Spiritualism will continue to grow, deepen, broaden and strengthen, until all dogmas will be swept away.
