I BELIEVE IN ANGELS

I BELIEVE IN ANGELS
The one thing that has sustained me during my very difficult life is my belief in angels and the intervention of Divine forces. I am not talking about the traditional archetypal angel with wings, as depicted in the bible, but more the pure angelic beings whose sole desire is to help those less fortunate. Although I have not always been aware of angelic forces guiding me I have always been aware of angelic forces guiding me. I have always known that they wee there observing me from the periphery of my life.
As a small child I was extremely aware of angels, gentle being cloaked in white gowns who always brought to me feelings of peace and solace. Although today I no longer see angels in that way, I have come to the logical conclusion that children ‘see' things as they really are, And that their perception of this world and beyond is untainted. We adults often become arrogant and complacent and it is these negative qualities that lowers the veil that separates our world from the world of angels.
Although Angelic beings are somewhat different from the spirit guides associated with spiritualism and mediums, angels are the supreme guides associated with Spiritualism and mediums. Angels are the Supreme Hierarchy and spirit guides their ambassadors. Angels have mostly lived out their existences in the super sensual side of the universe without ever having had an experience of a physical existence. Although they possess great powers, such powers are primarily used to influence one's judgement rather than to initiate miraculous changes in one's life. This is not to say that they do not cause miracles to happen - they can and frequently do. However, without the appropriate internal transformation any angelic intervention would be transitory and impermanent. I have always felt that a belief in angels is a prerequisite for my work as a medium and without that belief there would be absolutely no point to it.
Occasionally there are glimpses of an angel in the eyes of certain individuals whose spirituality, kindness and compassion makes them stand out from everyone else. We frequently see an angelic force manifesting in some animals, such as in our pet cat or dog, which may seem different from other animals. I have no doubt that angels frequently make their presence felt in many different ways. Angelic forces are precipitated by prayer and prayer is more often than not the ‘Key that unlocks the Great door that they might access our lives'.
One of the greatest spiritualist misconceptions is that angels will always guide us along the easiest road - this is not so. I have learnt that very little is achieved in a life of pleasure bereft of pain, sadness and misery. Suffering is the tool with which we fashion the spirit and thus cultivate character and personality. It is only now that I am able to look back over my life and pin-point exactly when I have been helped by angels. I have always prayed and will continue to pray for continues help and guidance. Although they see exactly what is in our hearts and souls, our prayers form the ultimate acknowledgement that we know they are there, and to the Kingdom of Angels, this is of paramount importance.
Even though we mostly have free-will and may therefore make our own decisions and reach our own conclusions, in many ways we are manipulated like marionettes, and what we believe has been our own decision is reality has not. Angels inspire and guide us all through our lives, and it is only when we have lost the fight through no fault of our own that they intervene and miracles thus occur. An atheist once declared that ‘God does not exist, but angels most certainly do'. Even though the atheist had always dismissed the very existence of a God Supreme Power, he admitted to having been helped by Angels.
All religions possess their archetypal angelic figures to whom their devotees pray for help and guidance.
So if angels do not really exist, from where in our consciousness do they originate?
