Basepoint management and tenants have already raised £75 from a raffle and have pledged their support to raise much needed funds for the Society throughout the year, with matched funding also available.
This is not the first support the disability charity has received from Basepoint; last year Basepoint's national charitable trust, the ACT Foundation, made a generous donation to the Therapy pool project at Portfield School providing the funds for a stair lift and evac chair for the facility's first floor meeting room.
Debbie Anderson, Fundraising Manager for the Wessex Autistic Society said "We are really pleased with this corporate partnership and are looking forward to organising some fundraising events with Basepoint and their tenants throughout the coming year"
Basepoint Bournemouth provides high quality affordable small business units, for office, studio or workshop use, available to let on Basepoint's unique flexible licence agreement. By becoming a tenant at the Bournemouth Centre, you will not be tied into a lengthy lease; in fact the terms are a minimum of 2 weeks notice. Basepoint provides a wide range of business accommodation, from small one or two person units, through mid size and larger suites, and includes a range of workshops, some with mezzanine floors. Basepoint's full time on site management team ensure the smooth running of the centre, and assist occupiers in any way they can to get the most out of the premises.
Carly Thompson, Centre Manager at Basepoint said "Having visited Portfield School, and seen the fantastic facility, and the hard work carried out by all involved, we are delighted that they are our appointed Charity for this year. We are very excited about supporting the Society through various fundraising events, to further develop and enhance the services and facilities they can offer to the children.
