Emma, 14, from Rossmore Community College in Poole is learning culinary skills from Patrick's head chef, Chris Howard as part of the Young Apprenticeship Programme.
Chris Howard said: "Emma started her training with us in February and since then she has really impressed!
"Although Emma is only in the kitchen for one day per week, she has learnt very quickly. As well as learning knife skills, she is developing her cooking techniques and works well when the kitchen is busy, Emma is an asset to the team."

Dagmar James, work related learning coordinator at Rossmore Community College said: "At Rossmore we are very proud of the students who participate in the Young Apprenticeship Programme. The Programme involves day release to Paragon Training, in this case for catering it's based at Bournemouth & Poole College, along with 50 days in a work placement during years 10 and 11. We really appreciate the companies who invite these students to be part of their teams as it takes great commitment from the employers as well as the students. Rossmore values its links with local businesses and looks forward to forging many more with businesses such as Patrick's."
Patrick's in Poole, is the perfect place to relax with a drink in the bar or impress and enjoy a fantastic dining experience whatever the occasion; be it a romantic dinner, a family meal, a business lunch or a corporate event.
