What does the play ranger service offer young people?
First of all Play Rangers is about children and young people having FUN.
The Play Ranger service is a free service which aims to encourage young people to play in parks and open spaces in their communities. We encourage young people to take risks and to play using the elements and environment they live in.
Play Rangers aim to give children and young people a sense of pride in their community by offering free activities which the children and young people own and control. This will give them a high level of respect for the area and the people that live there.
