Making Waves at the UK’s biggest Air Festival

Wave 105 is the official ‘Night Air' radio partner for the UK's largest free aviation event, the Bournemouth Air Festival which takes place from August 30 until September 2.
Night Air, sponsored by Corona, will be a fantastic programme of free evening entertainment and live music which will be staged on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights during the Festival.
Jon Brooks, Wave 105's Sales, Marketing and Operations Director, said: "We are absolutely delighted to be partnering with the Bournemouth Air Festival this year. This event is one of the largest of its kind and has positioned itself as one of the most attended annual events on the south coast.
"As well as providing coverage of the event, Wave 105 will be involved heavily with the Night Air programme. There are some big announcements to come and we aim to make the series of entertainment even bigger and better than ever before."
The full dusk air display programme is being developed but confirmed already is entertainment throughout the Bournemouth Gardens and at Boscombe Pier featuring fireworks, street entertainers and music. For the first time, the Tiger Freefall Parachute Display Team, who will perform during Night Air, jumping from 10,000ft with glow sticks and smoke trails.
