The Dolphin shopping centre, Poole, is hosting a retail education morning with students from Poole High School on Monday June 17 as part of the Young Enterprise's One Community programme.
Tenants of the Dolphin shopping centre, which include Primark, Beales, Topshop and independent retailers, Lumin-Essence and The Secret Wardrobe, have all volunteered to meet with the students, aged between 13 to 17 years old, to give them an insight into the 'real' world of work.
Dolphin centre manager, John Grinnell, said: "It's fantastic our tenants have dedicated their time to share their experience and enthusiasm, helping to build young people's confidence and help promote further education.
"The Dolphin shopping centre is committed to supporting the programmes run by the Young Enterprise. It's a fantastic organisation that helps children benefit in their future employment, it's these initiatives that enhance their communication, team work, planning and leadership skills."
The One Community programme aims to link local businesses with schools, so pupils can learn what future career and learning opportunities are available to them, how to manage their own finances and how to take responsibility in their communities.
