Nuffield Health appoints Liz Lean Public Relations

Author: Online Stories Published: 10th July 2013 15:00
The Nuffield Health Bournemouth Hospital charity has appointed Poole-based public relations consultancy, Liz Lean PR (LLPR) to help raise its profile across the region.
Nuffield Health Bournemouth Hospital brought the agency on board to manage the media launch of its new digital mammography suite. The LLPR team now continues to work with Nuffield Health on a retained basis to raise awareness of its consultants, available services and redevelopment plans.

David McNair, Director of Nuffield Health Bournemouth Hospital, said: "2013 is a very exciting year for us as we are in the process of completing extensive work throughout the hospital, including the installation of a stand-alone MRI suite, an extension to accommodate our improved facilities as well as three new theatres on one floor.

"With all of this, as well as becoming the first private hospital in Dorset to install the new start-of-the-art Hologic Dimensions digital mammography suite, we appointed LLPR to ensure Nuffield Health Bournemouth Hospital is cemented in people's minds as the leading hospital in the area."

Liz Willingham, Managing Director of Liz Lean PR, said: "Prior to working with Nuffield Health we weren't aware that it is a not-for-profit organisation, which is independent of government with no shareholders, therefore it is able to reinvest all financial surpluses for the benefit of its customers - it was very refreshing to learn this. We are extremely proud to be working with such an innovative and leading hospital."
