The on-sale ticket date has been announced for the award-winning live scare attraction Torment, coming to Gunwharf Quays for a limited time this Halloween. Limited tickets will be available to book online at Wave 105.com/Halloween from 7pm Monday July 17.

In partnership with immersive entertainment specialists Secrets Beneath, Wave 105 is bringing this unique Halloween event to Portsmouth's Gunwharf Quays from Friday October 20 to Sunday October 29, 6pm to 10pm. Each hair-raising session lasts around 20 minutes as it's brave visitors explore a fully-themed Victorian manor house over 7000 square foot.

The award-winning attraction uses lighting and sound effects, as well as smells, temperature control and live characters to fully immerse participants into the dark world created at its temporary home.
Torment dares the public to set foot into the haunted house of the twisted Lord Earlsford. In sheer desperation following the death of his young family, he unwittingly unleashed a host of evil demons into his home, where they stalk the halls in search of prey.

Keith Penny, enterprise and events director at Wave 105, said: "The buzz about Torment is really starting to build now. Wave 105, Secrets Beneath and Gunwharf Quays are all industry leaders in their respective fields and therefore this is set to be the biggest Halloween event the south coast has ever seen, with people travelling from all over to enjoy a hair-raising but fun packed experience with their friends or family. Once tickets go on sale it's likely that they'll sell out very quickly. Get in there quick and book from Monday!"

Colin Wilding, General Manager at Gunwharf Quays added: "We hope to see lots of people getting into the spirit at Gunwharf Quays this Halloween and look forward to welcoming our visitors to enjoy Torment which promises to be a completely unique experience!"

Tickets go on sale online at www.wave105.com/halloween on Monday July 17 from 7pm. Minimum age is 13 and tickets cost just £9.
