They're dreaming of a ‘greens' Christmas
Are you someone that relishes the thought of a pile of sprouts on Christmas Day, or do you eat only one token vegetable, just because it's December 25?
Well imagine facing one kilo of cabbage for your festive dinner.
Two creatures who polish off every last leaf without hesitation, are Oceanarium residents, Friday and Crusoe.
This Christmas the endangered green sea turtles at the award-winning attraction will consume one kilo of cabbage prepared by staff and members of the Oceanarium's Kids' Club, as well as munching through a selection of carrots, peppers and apples.
Other Oceanarium creatures will feast on shrimp jellies prepared by the Kids' Club, while the piranhas indulge in a tasty turkey as a Christmas Day treat.
