Greenhill Summer Exhibition 2008
| Published: 28th June 2008 13:12 |

Paintings, ceramics and other artistic work will be on display in the Barking Learning Centre's Gallery from 27 June to 10 July. The exhibits have all been done by students who attend the Art and Ceramic classes at the Greenhill Centre in Manor Park.

I spoke to two of the Centre's tutors, Amanda Westbury and Neil Murray. They told me how pleased they were that the work of the students was now able to be displayed to the public in a professional setting.

"It has taken a lot of commitment, and patience, by Amanda to get to this stage" explained Neil Murray "We are looking forward to it being well received by the people of Barking and surrounding areas."
"I am sure that everyone who views the students' work will be surprised at the quality and creative ability which is being shown during the exhibition" added Amanda Westbury.

I have no doubt that visitors will be very impressed with the high standard of work that is on show at the Gallery. You can get a (very rough) idea from the photos that I took while I was there.
