The Volunteer Bureau of Barking and Dagenham is run by a staff of eight people who recruit, train and support volunteers for the community and community groups. The volunteers mainly come from within Barking and Dagenham to work within the local community. The bureau are also able to put volunteers in touch with voluntary organisations outside of the Barking and Dagenham area.
