Brilliant Blue Boxes - Still Here!

UPDATE - Monday 30th June. Our blue box is still waiting to be collected!
The response to the blue box scheme has been overwhelming, so much so that some areas have yet to have their boxes collected. I know because we are one of them!
Walking around my area last week I noticed that quite a few people had put their blue boxes out in anticipation of them being collected and even more yesterday when our collection was due. But we were disappointed because it wasn't collected.
My disappointment was short-lived when I spoke to a very nice man at Barking Council who informed me that due to the astonishing success they were running behind.
So if you are sitll looking at your blue box wondering if it will be collected don't despair it will be!
