Knowing You Are There
Do you know what makes a difference
In my life with all it's cares?
It's the certainty of knowledge
Of you always being there
There's been some Oscar moments
Some real Red Carpet rides
But, always you have been there
Always by my side
Life isn't a rehearsal
And no one has the script
But in a cast of thousands
You are the perfect fit
Yet you have no comprehension
Of how much I know you care
But I can tell you simply
It's because I know you're there
