The Molten Festival starts with an explosive launch on Friday 26 September, and will end with a spectacular finale on Sunday 2 November between 4 - 8pm

Yemisi Blake, Aoife Mannix and Francesca Beard, and storyteller Sally Pomme-Clayton will be collecting stories from people in Barking and Dagenham over the weekend. They will create straight-talking stories, tall tales, and pithy poems inspired by the borough, which will be presented at this finale.

There will be giant mechanical birds, human catherine wheels, erupting volcanoes and a stunning fireworks display to end the Molten Festival with a bang! Local school children will be performing, and there will be crafts stalls, free arts & crafts activities, screenings, exhibitions, food & drink from around the world and a lantern procession. It's guaranteed to be a great evening out for all the family.
