The East Riding of Yorkshire Long Distance Walkers Association have their own website on the 'This Is Hull Beehive' website - just click the link above.

However, the following information concerning their forthcoming walks gives a flavour of the scope of the longer walks organised by this group. Just ring one of the contact numbers listed below or contact John Batham on 01964 550706 for more details.

A highlight of Summer 2009 is that the Group is walking Lake Pickering Circuit, in a series of linear walks, 150 miles total, during June through August. The walks follow the higher land around the edges of two ancient lakes. The circuit passes along the Howardian and Tabular hills, the North Sea Coastal cliffs and the Yorkshire Wolds. Transport is arranged from various start localities as outlined below. Booking is advisable as transport is limited to sixteen places. A badge and certificate are available. Contact M. Dawes. Tel: 01482 862875.
