'Menagerie' Exhibition at Gallery Forty-Nine, Bridlington

May 5th - June 30th 2012
Gallery Forty-Nine is pleased to announce that our forthcoming exhibition, ‘Menagerie', will be opening on Saturday May 5th. As the name suggests, it will be a wonderful show full of quirky and interesting creatures, featuring original work by established artists Susan Bower, Amy Husband, Giuliana Lazzerini Meg Burkill, Claire West and Sharon Winter, signed limited edition prints by Annora Spence and David Hockney, and 3D animals and birds by Shirley Vauvelle, Ian Potter and Nicky Clacy.

We are also very happy to be including work from the Curwen Studio, a fine art printmaking organization based in Cambridge. Director Jenny Roland commented: ‘Printmaking is a wonderful medium, and artists' original prints are an exciting addition to any collection. We are delighted that Gallery Forty-Nine will be including works created at the Curwen Studio by popular artists Mark Hearld, Carry Akroyd, Chloe Cheese and Vanessa Burroughes in their forthcoming Menagerie exhibition'.

The gallery will be launching a new website in time for the start of the exhibition, and all work will be available to view and reserve before the show starts. Through the website you can now follow us on Twitter and Facebook.
