The 1066 Cruisers Annual Custom Car Show
Whilst this years show can't take place due to the interesting summer weather the following was to have been the itinerary for the event:
Once again the 1066 Cruisers are hosting their Custom Car Show at the same venue they have used since 2005 being Horns Corner, Catsfield near Battle. The show ground will be within sight of the newly built Catsfield Community Pavilion.
The Show was to be held on the 5th August with the gates opening at 10.00am and shutting around 3.30pm.
On display will be some of the South East's most stunning Custom Cars, Hot Rods, Classic American and Muscle Cars as well as custom Trikes and Bikes.
During the course of the day there will be the chance to see a variety of Dragsters on display, some of which will be firing up in all their glory. There will also be the chance to see a Top Fuel Drag Bike.
If there is a band out there looking for an audience to play to we could give you a slot at lunch for an hour. You never know there may be a talent scout out there.
Families as well as die hard enthusiasts are welcome to come along with Uncle Bumble booked to entertain the kids in the middle of the day as well as face painting and balloon animal making. We want you to have a really good time so there will be a small fair on site, food kiosk's, (importantly) a beer tent and a variety of stalls selling crafts and other goods.
They will be ending the day with a ‘sound off' for the best sounding car at the show. Prize giving for the various entries will then follow.
