Security company making cold calls via the telephone

It was reported to Police on Friday 15th February that a company offering security devices is canvassing homes in the Hastings, Bexhill and Rother areas. Representatives are calling from a company called Secured Homes. They do appear to be legitimate however they are using persuasive sales techniques and people may end up agreeing to purchase items that they do not really need or want. So please be careful if you are contacted by this company.
