Local resident Barnaby Carpenter runs the Hastings office and heads up a team of highly-trained, fully-insured, cleaning professionals who are now operating throughout the area.
Barnaby recently graduated from Brighton University with a BA in International Finance & Capital Market Studies and previously worked at IT company, Coincrete in Hastings. A keen sportsman, Barnaby previously played for Hastings & Bexhill RFC.
Barnaby wanted to put his efforts into building up a successful business for himself and was looking for an exciting challenge. He was prompted into his new business venture after coming across an increasing number of people who were dissatisfied with their domestic help.
He says: "Everybody seemed to have a tale to tell about their cleaner - standards might slip after a few visits, perhaps staff couldn't be relied upon to turn up on time or even at all! Consequently, I realised that the demand in the area for high-quality, trustworthy cleaning staff was extremely high.
"I knew that Myhome prided itself on the workmanship and reliability of its employees and provided a service to rival its competitors, so I felt confident I would be able to offer local residents a first-class cleaning solution with the highest levels of customer care"
Barnaby continues: "In today's hectic environment, there never seems to be enough hours in the day and mundane, time consuming cleaning duties can eat into your precious free time. A lot of my clients simply don't have the time or inclination to carry out these chores and while we can't provide a solution to cutting down time at work, we can definitely provide a professional solution to sorting out their domestic lives!"
Myhome's cleaning service is tailored to meet the individual needs of each client, so before Barnaby can prepare a personalised quotation, he will visit the client at their property to assess their requirements and discuss any special requests.
Barnaby explains: "Most customers opt for a fortnightly clean as the service is so thorough. But our service is flexible and our one-off cleaning services are also great for people in a variety of situations - moving into a new home, vacating rental accommodation and undergoing the dreaded inventory check or in emergency situations such as after parties, before family are due, or after the builders have been in.

Myhome cleaning staff have completed a comprehensive training programme and undergone a strict vetting process, including police checks.
Myhome uses its own equipment and supplies of the latest tried and tested cleaning products to ensure sparkling results. This means there's no wear and tear on client's equipment and savings can be made on household cleaning products.
The company was launched 11 years ago with a pilot operation originally developed and tested by Unilever. Barnaby plans to recruit more local staff this year, so he can offer his services to even more local residents.
