Fund-Raising for refurbishment of the Community Room

As we failed to qualify for any Lottery funding, which would have enabled us to refurbish the large storage area to the rear of our offices, we now need to begin fund-raising towards the £50,000 approximately which is required to transform the area into a Community Room which will be used for meetings, events and as a drop-in Centre for adults.

We are appealing for volunteers who could help us to draw up plans, submit the Planning Application for change of use, and assist in any practical way possible as well as helping us to raise the much needed funds.

This facility would enable us to help many people in Bexhill who are lonely, infirm, disabled, and elderly as well as being of use to other Organisations for meetings, etc.
