Would you like to play a key role in supporting the regeneration of Hastings by providing a general supporting role in the practical day-to-day running of Hastings Trust's Resource Centre? They are looking for a volunteer to act as main front line support to staff and an essential link/liaison between the Trust's projects throughout Hastings. You will also be providing help to groups and individuals from a variety of backgrounds, ages and experiences to access appropriate provision in line with their requirements including use of the Resource Centre's computers.
This role requires good general IT and Internet skills, good verbal, written and numerical skills and previous administration, customer service and/or retail experience. A friendly welcoming personality, willingness to relate positively to people from different sections of the community and ability to both use own initiative and work flexibly as part of a small team are the main personal qualities needed in this role.

The Rooms Café Bar and Studios in St. Leonards is a family run social enterprise aiming to promote creativity in the local community. They are seeking a volunteer administrative assistant to provide general clerical and administrative support, as well as working alongside the business manager to assist in the improvement of existing services and the development of new ones.
This role would suit someone with previous experience of running a business, who is computer literate, organised and motivated with good communication and interpersonal skills. GardenAfrica has just moved to Burwash and are looking for volunteers to support their exciting young UK based charity whose work is focused on Southern Africa where they establish productive organic training gardens in schools, hospitals and clinics, growing nutritional food and medicinal plants.
These gardens offer practical and effective solutions for building community health and livelihoods, ensuring the continuation of vital botanical and horticultural knowledge through to the next generation.
They are looking for volunteer help with administration, press relations, fundraising and supporter relations (newsletters, leaflets and events). They are aiming to build a small local network of experienced, self-motivated and creative people.
