South GREEN lives up to its name

South Green Junior School, Billericay, has recently collected in excess of 250 pairs of old shoes and 13 sacks of textiles, to help Third World communities.
The scheme is also good for the environment and ties in to the school's Year 4 students being visited by "the recycling bus". The encounter saw the children learn how to reduce, refuse and recycle waste.
