Lakeside Cinema Relaunches with New Ideas

The Vue cinema in Lakeside (opposite Marks & Spencers) has recently re-opened following its extensive refit.
The cinema now boasts nine brand new wall to wall, floor to floor screens with Dolby Digital Surround Sound and large luxury seats with "masses of leg room and stadium seating".
Other features include a café and licensed bar and some more unusual viewing options. Gold Class ticket holders enjoy club-class seats, low level tables for drinks (alcoholic drinks from the bar are allowed) and snacks, along with bottomless popcorn buckets.
Meanwhile the "Evolution" screen allows guests to choose from "enormous beanbags, two or four-seater sofa pods for couples, friends or families or individual premium seating.
