St Mary Magdalen Church

St Mary Magdalen Church in the High Street, Billericay has reopened after many months of restoration and refurbishment.
The Church has been turned into a flexible space for community use, by the installation of a new kitchen, toilets and a heated floor, without compromising it's spiritual use.
The overall costs of the refurbishment were £150,000, of which £100,000 was raised from generous contributions from local charities and business. The remaining £50,000 has been borrowed.
With its prominent position on the High Street, St Mary's is a perfect venue for public events and as a meeting place for local organisations. With debt to settle and much work still required, the Church is in great need of local support.
