Is your little darling always to be found with his/her head in a book, merely grunting at your questions and comments until you give up and go away? Or do you climb the stairs at night, only to be greeted with a telltale pool of light seeping from under their bedroom door? If the answer is yes, then your child will love the 'Ask Chris' website.

This website is run by the Essex Libraries and 'Chris' is not a real person, but a mixture of the knowledge and enthusiasm of Essex Libraries staff, and recommendations of readers across Essex. Your child can select what sort of book he/she would like to read and 'Chris' will create a list to choose from. Once he/she has read the book, a book review can be left for other readers and 'Chris' will help him/her choose a book to read next - easy!
