If your child is struggling with homework or has a particular question in relation to their homework, the Essex Libraries provide a number of services that they may find useful:
Homework Resources
There are a number of Online Information Services available to children, including encyclopedias and reference titles linked to the national curriculum, that may be accessed via the library web site.
Homework Helper
Homework Helper is the E-study support service provided by Essex Libraries.
It offers guidance about the sources of information that children might use, as well as making suggestions about how to utilise good searching and study skills.
Children may access the Homework Helper on line.
They simply e-mail their question and they will receive suggested useful resources and web sites in reply. The site is totally secure; children deal only with library staff.
Unfortunately for the children, the Essex Librarians are not willing to do their homework for them!
