Record Results For Mayflower

Mayflower High School has proudly announced its highest ever figures for pupils achieving five or more GCSEs between A* and C.
The school saw 75% of its students meet this level, with 16 students gaining straight A* and A grades in 10 or more subjects.In a record-breaking year the school also announced that the general level of A* to C passes also climbed by 2 per cent year-on-year.

Head teacher Linda Bamford said: "For the second year running we are proud to celebrate our best ever results, which include an increase in the very top grades for the fourth year in succession. This is an outstanding achievement and reflects the hard work and commitment of students and staff over the last two years. I would like to congratulate everyone on their success."
