Mini Bus Boost

Site Manager Joe Lane and teacher Heather Smith are taking to the water to raise funds for a new mini bus at Brightside School.
They will be part of the Trinity House team taking part in ‘The Great River Race' on Saturday 13th September on the Thames.
Joe will captain the boat whilst Heather, as Cox, will steer the boat from Richmond to Greenwich in a race which will take 2 ¾ hours of hard work.
Joe also took part in this race year, raising £1,000 for cancer research.
The pair is looking for sponsorship which can be made via the school by calling 01277-655995

The final results for us were.
· 1st Trinity House Challenge Cup
· 2nd In the Service's section. (Trinity House are the Light House Service)
· 2nd City of London based crew (Trinity House are based at Tower Hill)
· 3rd Thames Waterman Cutter Crew (This is our boat type)
· Our course time 02:33:03
