Billericay Town 2 - 1 Tooting & Mitcham
Billericay earned their first points of the season on Tuesday evening with a 2-1 victory over Tooting & Mitcham.
The victory came despite injuries saw two changes to the team that started the season's opener against Staines on the previous Saturday and which were added to after only 10 minutes, when central defender Tim Cole had to be replaced.
Nevertheless, an accomplished performance from the outset, saw the Blues take the lead through a Joe Flack penalty. With other good chances squandered and then a Tooting equaliser in the second half it looked as those Town would have to settle for just a point, however Billy Bricknell had other ideas and grabbed a winner five minutes from time.
