If you are over 60 and alone and would like someone trustworthy to talk to, the Befriending Service may be able to help:
A befriender can offer:
- Regular visits to your home or a telephone call for a friendly chat
- A listening ear
- Links to other services
- Volunteers who are carefully screened and trained
