Little Scrummers Rugby Ltd have been running classes since March 2009 and is exciting idea based on non contact rugby for girls and boys aged 2 years to 6 years, which helps them live a healthier life, with far improved communication, behavioural, and social skills. It will also improve their gross motor skills and sporting ability by introducing them to sport at an earlier age.

Little Scummers are partnered with Chelmsford Rugby Club are working together to help bring the exciting game of non contact rugby to the younger children who deserve that opportunity.
Classes are now coming to South Woodham Ferrers RFC on a Saturday morning from September 2011.
Cost £30 annual membership fee, then £6 per class payable in termly blocks, in advance.
As part of the membership fee your child will receive: A Little Scrummers Rugby Kit.

Due to our success of the classes at Felsted, Chelmsford & Harlow, We have now teamed up with Maldon Rugby Club, to run classes at Drapers Chase on a Saturday morning. We are delighted that we are now able to offer classes to more children In the Maldon area. We have children as young as twp playing tag rugby!
In New Zealand children are encouraged to participate in Club Rugby from as young as 5 compared to 6 in the UK, and the results speak for themselves - Little Scrummers want to change this, and make the sport more accessible to the children who deserve the opportunity.
Our aims are simple: To introduce younger children into the game of rugby at an earlier age, by equipping them with the basic skills that they can develop later at school or at club level We are here to help bring the exciting game of non contact rugby toyounger children.
Little Scrummers is not about finding the next professional player, it is just about showing the children what is out there, at a younger age and giving them the opportunity to live a healthier lifestyle by introducing them in to this fun and exciting game traditionally played by toughies old enough to look after themselves.
All of our coaches are CRB checked, and hold the relevant Insurance.
The classes are split in to age groups - Times of classes vary according to location. Cost: £25 annual membership fee, then £5 per class, payable termly, in advance. We offer everyone a FREE trial, so come along and see If you like what we do!

TERM DATES
(Please note we are always happy to accomodate new joiners mid-term as long as there is space in the class to do so)
RE START 7/8th JANUARY 2012
PLEASE NOTE: The Fees are due at the start of each term and payable in class or online. New members pay for the remaining weeks of the term - less the free trial date. The WHOLE term fee is payable regardless of sessions attended, as this guarantees your childs place for the term. Please speak to the coaches in class or contact us if you have any issues.
If fees are not received by the second week of term at the latest, we will have to offer the place to another child.
We are sorry to have to be so formal in this requirement, but due to previous non-paying members we must.
