Matthew WoodbridgeBedfordshire Police are appeal for information from the public after a 14 year old boy went missing from an address in Essex on April 7th and hasn't been seen since.
Matthew Woodbridge, who is originally from Luton and has friends and family living throughout the county, is in the care of Social Services and was staying in a care home at the time of his disappearance.
This is not the first time Matthew has gone missing and in the past he has been located in the Luton area.
Matthew is described as a 15 year old white boy, with a stocky build, 5'6" tall with short brown hair, a pale complexion and blue eyes.
PC Darran Walker, investigating Matthew's whereabouts, is keen to speak to members of the public who may have seen him.
He said: "We know Matthew has friends and family living throughout the county including in the towns of Luton, Dunstable and Leighton Buzzard. It is possible that Matthew is staying with family or friends and these people may not be aware that any person allowing him to reside in their care is committing an offence of Harbouring a Child that is an arrestable offence for which they could face a term of imprisonment.
"I would appeal to anyone who has seen Matthew including anyone who may have seen a child matching his description at their local shops or whilst they are commuting to and from work to speak with the police so we can make sure he is safe and well."
Anyone with information about Matthew's whereabouts can contact PC Darran Walker at Bedfordshire Police Missing Persons Unit, in confidence, on 101, or text information to 07786 200011.
