Epping Forest Youth Employment Strategy has been chosen to compete in the Aviva Community Fund vote for the opportunity to be awarded funding up to £5,000 for their activities supporting young people on their journey into the World of Work.

Youth Employment Strategy Partnership (known as the YES Partnership) has been designed to encourage students, schools and youth organisations, local and national government and businesses to provide motivation, information and assistance for young people seeking employment.

Following a recent Motivation Conference, an employer said: " I looked at their faces: success was written all over them".

The YES Partnership is going from strength to strength with initiatives taking place across the Epping Forest District area including a Festive Youth Market, Breakfast for Business, Motivation Conferences and World of Work ("WOW)" Conferences involving all six Epping Forest District secondary schools.

We held a successful "Investors in Youth People Awards" last year and are currently working on our second event recognising Epping Forest young people and businesses.

All you need to do to vote is register on the Aviva Community Fund website and every individual email address gets 10 votes, which you can spread across the projects or give all your 10 votes to YES!

Please do not delay as the deadline for votes is 30th May. Click on the link below to vote NOW:

 VOTE FOR YES

We would like to thank everyone who has already voted for us and would appreciate if you could let others know to help spread the word. Thanks.

About the Aviva Community Fund

The Aviva Community Fund offers you the chance to secure funding for an important cause in your community.

Open to everyone - Aviva customers, employees, insurance brokers or financial advisers (whether associated with Aviva or not) and the general public - we want you to submit a project for your community organisation and tell us what difference these much-needed funds could make.

Secure enough votes from friends, family and supporters in your community and you could be entered into the finals, where a judging panel will award the funds.

The Aviva Community Fund will finance over 362 entries across four different fund levels and four categories throughout the UK.

If your project secures among the most votes and wows our judges, it will be in with a chance of securing those much-needed funds.

For more information please see: Aviva Community Fund website
