Come along to Epping Forest District Museum, Sun Street, Waltham Abbey, EN9 1EL in half term week.
How to Paint…Rural Life - Saturday 10 February
Children’s workshop: 10.30am – 12.30pm 7+ years, £10
Adult’s workshop: 2pm – 4pm 16+ years, £10
Fields, trees, hay bales and horse; the Rural Naturalists painted them all…now it’s your turn!
In this artist led workshop, you will be painting in the style of the Naturalists. You will study the work of the great naturalist painters such as John Constable and the Newlyn School, and be inspired by Epping Forest District Museum’s ‘Rural Life’ exhibition. These workshops keep creative learning light-hearted and fun and are very hands on!
Adults are welcome to attend with their children in the morning session or attend without children in the afternoon. Booking essential.

Family Fun - Make a Lucky Horseshoe
Tuesday 13th February 2018 12noon – 3pm, £1.50 per child
Fun family art and craft activities for you to make together and take home.
No need to book, just drop in and allow approximately 20 minutes for the activity.
All ages welcome (activity most suitable for 5 - 11 year olds).
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
