The Benefits of Promoting Your Business
| Published: 10th February 2008 17:25 |
There aren't too many organisations out there who don't use some form of promotion to get themselves noticed. Choosing the most effective method is all important, measuring results and testing more than one idea to see what works best.
Promotional products printed with your logo and contact details are cost efficient and can be used in a number of ways. For instance, Trade Shows and Exhibitions. Giveaways are always well received and they are great conversations starters on the day. The choice of products is vast; pens, post-it notes, coasters, stress balls, mugs, key rings, flashdrives and much more. And if you can tailor the giveaway to your type of business, so much the better.
The same principle applies to Conferences and Seminars. A delegates ‘kit' will be kept and used back at the office and be a constant reminder of the hosts products and services long after the event took place.
Sales ‘leave-behinds' are also welcomed by customers when your sales person has made a visit.
Business gifts are particularly important. How many of you give away a bottle of something at Christmas? No problem with handing out some seasonal cheer, but will the recipient really remember it was you who gave it to them by the time they get round to 12th night? Probably not. For about the same price as a reasonable bottle of wine or spirits, you can provide a really good personalised gift that will be gratefully received, kept and used well into the summer.
Finally, there is now an extensive range of promotional products made from recycled materials. The perfect idea to show you care about the environment. Pens made from recycled CD cases or old car parts, pencils from plastic cups, notebooks from old car tyres and more.... Great fund raisers for Charities too.
Can you afford to not promote your business?
