Important elections are taking place in Gloucester City on Thursday 1st May.
This is your chance to have a say about how local services are run and how much they cost you.

Voting help
Polling stations are open from 7am to 10pm on Thursday 1st May. If you are on the electoral register you should be sent a polling card telling you where to vote. You do not need this card to vote, but it does contain useful information.
To find out which ward you live in and who are your existing local councillors visit http://www.councillor.gov.uk/ and enter your complete postcode.I f you are not already on the list of electors, you need to have registered by 16 April. If you can't get to the polling station in person, you can also register for a postal vote or a proxy vote. The Electoral Commission website will help you do this - even download the necessary forms.
